Are you over-fed and under-nourished?

Food is the fuel that energizes our body for work, play and healing. It is the source of our vitality and contains all substances and nutrition necessary for the regulation of all our bodily processes. However, with the dominance of processed foods and our busy schedules,  it’s getting increasingly difficult to eat  foods that actually do all of the above.

Many of the foods we consume were made with heavily processed ingredients that were stripped of their nutritional value for the sake of better appearance or longer shelf live. This, along with other factors such as pollution and use of pesticides, chemicals and growth hormones, causes nutritional deficiencies in our bodies.

Why is it so hard to maintain a whole food diet?

Whole food is food that is unprocessed or went through minimal processing and refinement. We are talking about fruits, vegetables, unpolished grains, etc., – foods that are slowly but steadily disappearing from our diets, and here is why.

  • Cooking pre-processed foods is often easier and quicker than finding the time to prepare meals from whole foods.
  • It may require extra effort (and extra money) to find, purchase, store and use whole foods before they spoil or expire.
  • Many of us are out of practice or have never learned to cook, so the thought of using fresh fruit and vegetables feels overwhelming.

Don’t despair – there is a solution

At Strength & Vitality Wellness Center, we understand that sticking to a whole food diet takes quite a bit of commitment and resources. This is why we recommend whole food supplements designed to help you on your journey to healthier nutrition. A whole food supplement contains a wide range of vitamins and minerals necessary for a healthy nutrition regiment, and is often more effective than large doses of an isolated vitamin.

We trust Standard Process Whole Food Supplements because we’ve used them both for ourselves and our clients and have seen consistent positive results. Standard Process uses an advanced manufacturing process to turn wholefood concentrate into easily digestible supplements packed with nutritional value.
