This is the 2nd year that Women in Wellness has been a part of the Baltimore Women’s Classic, and we are so proud to have participated in this remarkable event. The acupuncturists, herbalist, massage therapist and workshop leaders of Women in Wellness had the great honor of being in the thick of all the excitement alongside our clients, friends, and family. With 2000 women of all shapes, sizes, ages, and colors, our walkers and runners pushed themselves beyond limit. I personally decided to hang out with the Women in Wellness volunteers at the water station. I insist that this is the best place to be for capturing the energy, excitement, and pulse of the runners and the overall event.
Watching each person put aside their fears and embrace the dedication to themselves is a feeling that I have become addicted to. I’m haunted by the question “If they can take on this challenge for themselves, what can I do for myself?”
