Case Study: Kim More energy, better mobility, and greater confidence while managing a demanding career
Kim, an experienced educator, recently transitioned from being a teacher to an assistant principal. With this new role came a realization that she needed to take care of her physical health and overall well-being in order to meet the demands of her job. Seeing a colleague glowing with vitality, Kim reached out to the Strength & Vitality Accelerator program after hearing about the positive changes her coworker had experienced.
LIFE BEFORE STRENGTH & VITALITY WELLNESS
- Physical pain (physical discomfort, sciatica and arthritis pain)
- Struggled To Keep Up
- Flailing Nutrition
WHY SHE JOINED THE STRENGTH & VITALITY
ACCELERATOR:
The moment Kim saw the remarkable transformation in her coworker, she knew she needed a change. With the demands of her new role and her desire to feel her best, she decided to invest in herself through the Strength & Vitality Accelerator. She hoped the program would help her with pain management, overall health, and developing sustainable habits for her long- term well-being.
FEARS AND CONCERNS:
At the beginning, Kim faced internal resistance with exercise, as it wasn’t her favorite activity. However, she found that by starting slowly and incorporating fun, manageable exercises, she could build consistency over time. Another initial challenge was meal planning, but once she got into a rhythm, it became second nature, saving her time and money.
EXPERIENCE IN THE PROGRAM:
Through the program, Kim not only focused on her physical health but also found improvements in her mindset and organization. By working closely with the program’s resources and guidance, Kim implemented new eating habits that significantly reduced her midday fatigue and irritability.
ULTIMATE RESULT:
Kim's results were profound. She no longer suffers from the chronic pain she once thought was a normal part of her life. Her new eating and exercise habits have provided her with increased energy, mobility, and confidence to manage her demanding role as an assistant principal. She's also passing on the lessons learned to her family, ensuring they benefit from her journey.
The Strength & Vitality Accelerator has provided me with sustainable tools that I can use for life. This program isn't about short-term success. It's about creating lasting change, and I know I have the tools to continue thriving for years to come.

Case Study: Vicky Creating health routines she can maintain alongside a full life
Vicky is a 45-year-old working mother with a busy professional and personal life.
After the birth of her daughter and the challenges of the pandemic, she found herself facing weight gain and low energy levels. As a new mom, she struggled to balance work, family, and self-care, often feeling drained and overwhelmed.
LIFE BEFORE PRACTICING SELF-CARE CONSISTENCY
- Inconsistent self-care habits
- Perfectionism and fear of failure
- Balancing motherhood and personal health
INITIAL CHALLENGES:
Before joining the Strength & Vitality Accelerator, Vicki’s
self-care was inconsistent.
The weight she gained during the pandemic seemed stubborn, and despite her efforts, she couldn’t maintain the energy levels she needed to keep up with her young daughter. The lack of a clear, structured approach left her feeling overwhelmed by the demands of daily life.
Vicki also dealt with feelings of frustration around her failed attempts to manage her health. She often felt she wasn’t doing “enough” or wasn’t consistent enough to make a real impact, leaving her stuck in a cycle of trying and giving up.
VICKY’S ACHIEVEMENTS:
Today, Vicky has seen significant improvements in her health and energy. She’s consistently hydrating, hitting 90-100 ounces of water daily compared to her initial 20-40 ounces. Her exercise routine is solid-she’s moving almost daily, with stretches and walks. She’s also found success in meal prep, which has saved her time, reduced stress, and improved her family’s eating habits.
Emotionally, the biggest win for Vicki is the mindset shift that came with the 85% rule. Instead of striving for perfection and burning out, she learned to accept progress over perfection.
This has lifted a huge weight off her shoulders, allowing her to celebrate her wins, even when she’s not perfect.
ULTIMATE RESULT:
The ultimate triumph for Vicki has been regaining control of her health and energy in a sustainable, balanced way. She no longer feels overwhelmed by the pressure to be perfect. Instead, she has found room in her life for daily movement, hydration, and meal prep, all while balancing the demands of work and motherhood. Her mental clarity has improved, she's more present with her family, and she feels empowered to maintain these changes long-term. Her success has also positively impacted her family. She's more patient and engaged with her daughter and husband, and the stress around mealtime has significantly decreased thanks to her meal planning routine. Vicki's journey is a testament to the power of small, consistent changes and a shift in mindset toward progress over perfection.

Case Study: Bernadette Building strength and confidence to stay active and independent as she ages
At 67 years old, Bernadette was looking for ways to maintain her health, independence, and vitality as she aged. She had always been an active woman, but over time, she started to feel the toll of a busy life and a lack of consistent self-care.
She joined the MightyMe! classes as a first step toward building a sustainable routine, but her journey didn’t stop there. Over time, she transitioned into the Strength & Vitality Accelerator to address all aspects of her health and wellness, beyond just physical fitness.
LIFE BEFORE SELF-CARE CONSTENCY PRACTICE
- Inconsistent Routine
- Setting aside time for herself felt overwhelming
- Knee pain and other discomforts
FEARS AND CONCERNS:
When Bernadette first joined the programs, she was apprehensive about her ability to stick with them. She feared failure after past attempts at self-care had fizzled out. She also worried that she wouldn’t have enough time to fit these new habits into her busy schedule. But as she engaged with the program and the community, those fears began to fade.
ACHIEVEMENTS AND WINS:
As Bernadette embraced the MightyMe Program and eventually transitioned into the Strength & Vitality Accelerator, she saw profound changes. Her physical strength increased, and she noticed a significant reduction in knee pain. More importantly, she developed a routine that allowed her to stay consistent in her self-care. She began exercising three times a week, which boosted her energy levels and made day-to-day activities easier. Her family, too, noticed the difference in her vitality and stamina.
ULTIMATE RESULT:
Bernadette's journey has led to
a complete transformation in how
she views aging and self-care. She feels empowered by the knowledge that she can stay strong and independent well into the future. Now, she can envision a life where she chases her future grandchildren around the yard without hesitation, confident that her body and mind will continue to support her.
The result of her consistency is clear: she has more energy, less pain, and a positive outlook on life. More importantly, she feels at peace knowing that she's in control of her health and her future.
It wasn't about doing everything perfectly or overnight.
It was about small, consistent steps that added up to something life-changing. Now, I feel stronger, more energized, and confident in my ability to take care of myself for the long run.
